I'm looking at buying a 2001 Mercedes....and I am looking to see if anyone knows there way around a Mercedes Benz...If so, lemme know, I'll buy ya a 12 pack for just looking at it, if ya want more, just let me know...I'm just trying to dodge the inspection fee at a mercedes benz dealership :-/ So if ya can, lemme know so I can arrange a day to take a look at it...

2001 was in the middle of the Chrysler era and kind of a dark time in the quality/reliability departments for MB.

Honestly, i cant stress enough the importance of getting a detailed pre-purchase inspection by a qualified mb specialist. And ill give you some reasons.

there could be thousands of dollars of work that needs to be done. also getting one can not only save you money in the future, but its also a negotiation point, you could either get them to knock down the price, or get them to fix what needs to be done. Before you buy it.

Thanks for the info, the website hasn't been finished yet. Do they do inspection work? Like if I make an appointment and bring this Mercedes up, will they take a look at it, and see if anything is wrong?

yeah i didnt realize the site hasnt been finished yet but im pretty sure if u call and ask im pretty sure theyre gonna look at it...idk if they do inspection work i just found out not too long ago that they opened a shop..ima def check roll by this week and check them out this week..
