Anybody do paint correction/detail? Warning; It's a Black German car.

I'm looking for anyone that can do decent paint correction and detail my car to get it ready for a sale. It's a '13 Jet Black Jetta, yes still under factory paint warranty but I have two spots the dealer won't touch without raping my pockets. One was caused by a car magnet and appears to only be in the clear coat, the other is on the fender caused by a dumb bitch who dropped her baby's car seat on it. The latter may need some paint pen and buff, but I'm no professional and nor do I pretend to be. The car also has the typical black car swirls/spiderwebs here and there. I just want to get it looking decent before I sell it.

I've searched for 40 minutes now, sent a few PM's and found about 60 fender rolling threads. Apparently I just suck at internet'ing. I specifically remember a thread with someone who brought a Supra back to life, and who may have been working on some sort of red exotic, possibly a Ferrari orr ??

If anyone could make any suggestions or references preferably in the Richmond area, I'd greatly appreciate it.

A little bit of a hike for you but if anybody can fix it Mike at Shine and Line can. He's just up the road in Fredericksburg.

I'll post some pictures tomorrow after work, if I can get enough of the pollen off the car..

PTAD1's work is good. I've taken my S2000 to him the past two years. He took care of my swirls and some fade that was on my rear bumper.
 for a good kid!

Well I apologize for taking so long but, a couple days after I posted this I was blessed with an F'ed up front bumper courteous of some Short Pump soccer mom and her SwaggerWagon. She pulled into the parking spot in front of my car way too fast and nailed the front of my car. She then got out, determined it was "not enough damage to matter" and repositioned her van like 15 spots down the row and went on her way shopping.

Got her on two different cameras hitting my car, getting out, then hopping back in and driving off. Hit and run much? Her husband already cut me a check to have the bumper replaced but I still need to address the other two spots on my own. :(

This is the spot caused by the baby seat, these can actually be felt with your fingernail..

This is the one cause by the magnet, can't even feel it with a wet plastic bag run over it.

They're like 18" from each other on the hood/driver's fender.

Sorry about the mixture of pollen and road shit on the car, it's been raining like hell. A couple of the techs at West Broad Audi seem to think I can order one of VW's paint match pens, hit the scratches with that and then go over with some buffing compound and a clear coat pen and it will be fine.. But the dealer/service wants to repaint the whole fender.. F that.

Let me know what you guys think

Or you could just inform the husband that more stuff was damaged and he needs to pay for it before you report a hit and run...

The check is gonna take care of this for me ;)

I just don't want the dealer repainting when they don't need to and diminishing the value with overspray in the hood/fender jamb and such.

I guess they'll just have to repaint the entire hood then :dunno:

No. Hood is fine. No need for a full repaint lol. Just scratch remover or a polishing compound.

The techs are right. You can do that and even it out with a strong polishing/rubbing compound. If those are the only two spots I can tell you how to take care of it. The hood one looks pretty easy honestly, the past clear coat ones will probably need black touch up paint and then wetsand or maybe compound.

Larry knows his stuff, use this vid as a guideline because I don't think those two spots are worth your time driving an hour just to get them fixed. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6xi3xmeO6C4
