Yeah I know what an LT1 is but wouldn't he be better to find an LS1 or just build a tried and true 350?

I honestly don't know much about the later engines I just thought the LT1 was not the one to have.

The LT1 is the popular swap into those cars. It's really about the only way to get decent performance while still staying EFI. As far as I know, the LS1 isn't a direct swap. For those of you who don't know, the LS1 is completely different than your SBC motors. The LT1, on the other hand, IS a 350 SBC motor.

Who says you can't learn on drag.

I wasn't sure when the made the deviation from the 350 but I knew the LS1 was different. Fair enough.
