Question Any local shops carry sheets of dense plastic material (similar to Kydex)?

Shipping is expensive, looking for any local shops that carry high density plastics that can be used for automotive body work. Kydex is costly but may be suitable if thick enough. Want it to be able to stand up to high winds, so the 0.060 stuff is going to be way too thin (found a Kydex dealer in NY, that's what he offers). Maybe 3/16" thickness is necessary.

2' x 8' would be great in matte black color.

Any shops that you know of that actually carry this for under $50? Please don't reveal your ignorance by posting shit like, "yo, check Home Depot!".

I'm interested to hear more about what you're doing with this stuff if you don't mind sharing.

First project is aero-modding a removable front air dam for the F350 diesel truck for trips to Wyoming, Canada, and Georgia (should get 1.5 to 2 mpg benefit). Second project would be future fabricating new lockable hinged door panels for my little red car to mount a concealed paddle holster for my sidearm and a water bottle holder.

I'm always building stuff...

Thought Curbell was a distributor only, they sell low quantity to individuals?

Thanks, will check it out...
