Default Ac Conversion

Hey does anyone know a good place to get my R-12 removed out of my AC system and replaced with R-134? I have the conversion fittings already. I stopped at Merchants and was qouted over 150 dollars. That seems a little unreasonable. Thanks for the help.

yeah , just release the R-22 into the atmosphere (federal violation) get a vacuum pump ($150 for a really cheap one) some R-134 (about $30-$50) and a gauge($10) and do it yourself.

Just put 134 in the system as is. Some say it'll explode or some shit, but I'd call their bluff.
