Re: 2008 F450.....
I thought it was too rough and boxy for my personal taste. Went with a 2005-2007 model year styling F350 turbo diesel myself. That twin turbo engine is very tempting, if you need that much power. Save the loot and get a used 2005-2007 F350 diesel with 90k miles for half price.

I just want an F250 Crew Cab 4x4 Diesel. Is that too much to ask? Rich, look into where you did your research and see if you can find me one. Any color as long as it isnt gold, or lime/pee green, or doo doo brown.

I can find you a bunch in the $26k range if you can get financing from a bank (rather than relying on a dealership). Most common are white in crew cab diesel. I liked the dark blue myself. Powertrain warranty is to 100k miles with $100 deductible, so I searched for ones in the 80-90k mile range.

Re: 2008 F450.....
I was goign to get a used 7.3 350 but they are so hard to find in good condition. A 2005-2007 is th only decent yeear for a 6.0...
I love the boxy looks... Thats one of the major things I like. The 6.4 is so quite and its getting 14-15mpg driving and 11mpg with my 28ft tag behind it. More than likely I will buy it since its hard to find one that wasnt a work truck.
