Came in for a dyno tune and to check over his Honda he just purchased. Well we got it on the dyno, and not more than 5 minutes into it, the car began overheating.
Richard left the car with us, to diagnose the problem. Monday morning we cracked open the motor, and realized that it had nothing in it vs. what was on the spec sheet he got with the car.

It had a stock LS bottom end with a block-guard in it. The headgasket was blown, and there were signs of heavy detonation.
After the problem was established Richard did not hesitate to fix the issue. Dan suggested to get an ERL sleeved block with an 84mm bore, Wiseco Pistons. The parts were overnighted, and the rotating assembly was off to the machine shop Wednesday.( Meanwhile the car was at the paint booth getting repainted at Custom Chrome of VA)
We got everything back Friday 5:00pm. The motor was assembled, and in the car by Midnight(props to Dan). We ran into some wiring issues, which postponed our tuning to 4:00am. It was tuned until 6:30am. The motor made 471 at 15 psi and we ran out of fuel.

The injectors in the motor were also a lie according to the spec sheet. They were 720cc, we replaced them with 1600cc injectors on Saturday. Got on the dyno AGAIN...
Matt made the magic happen and the car ended up making 670 HP, 420 Ft. Lbs. @ 29 psi.
Sunday morning we are heading up to MIR for Battle of the Imports, wish us luck!
If any of you other V8 guys want to step up and get an Import, we are here to help!

Just got home from leaving their shop and yet agian I am speechless.
These guys know there stuff for sure! They turned a car around in a few days and made a BEAST out of it!
Long Hours, Dedication, and TRUE FRIENDS made this happen. I cant wait to "Try" and drive this monster.
Believe me, they have made a customer/friend for life and I will spread their name proud!
Only had 2 horus sleep in the last 48 though, so GOOD NIGHT!
These guys know there stuff for sure! They turned a car around in a few days and made a BEAST out of it!

Wow guys, that's ton of work in very little time.
