they were just slightly out of focus. I am forced to guess my focal lengths and just missed on a few. Owell. These were all handheld, and way too old for a remote lol.

Nope, brand new film. there is no light meter on this thing lol, so no. it is quite the guessing game. I found the old manual online that give suggestions for certain conditions so that will help in the future if I'm stumped

All you need to exposure without a light meter on film is a Jiffy Calculator

As far as focus goes, when shooting a viewfinder camera, f/8 is skillful. F/11 or F/16 are pretty much where you're stuck unfortunately. And then the really sucky thing is it is almost impossible to find good film anymore, even online.
