TT LS9 powered Lotus Elise
Meet the Hennessey Venom GT-a highly modified Elise with an extended wheelbase developing 1200hp and tipping the scales at 2685lbs-that gives it a power to weight ratio 2.24lbs/HP, more than 150% over the Bugatti Veyron.

Re: TT LS9 powered Lotus Elise
It's based on an Exige, not an Elise. Close enough though.
I think it's a cool car, but I really don't think the body proportions work with the stretched chassis. If you're going to pay that much for a car, I'd want it to be a unique body style instead of a modified version of an existing body.

It looks better put together than it dis the last time I saw engine bay shots, but there're still some pretty piss poor details on a car of that caliber.
And I full on admit that I would be scared to try and drive that car fast. I dare say that >90% of the people who buy one will be too. They'll be garage queens or slowly driven conversation pieces. And some rich trust fund baby in California will kill himself in one showing off.
