Well let me introduce myself properly. My name is Trevor Silva, I am 24 years old, (yes old, got a grey hair) I just arrived to Virginia (Fort Eustis). I am active duty Army and will be here for about 4 months. I am originally from Idaho and have owned nothing but rotary vehicles. I currently own a 1987 Turbo 2 Rx7, and I drove my 2004 Rx8 from Idaho (2500 Miles!) to Virginia so that I wouldn't be bored around here. I was stationed in Fort Riley, Kansas previous here and am a autocrosser and love to do track days too. I ran at HPT on track days and in the Salina Region in Kansas for Autox.I was the Regional Champion for STX this last season. I have found your region and will be attending events at Pungo and maybe a track day or 2 at VIR. Anyways, Pics of the Rx8.

I haven't been able to work on this since 2006. All these photos are from then or older. I bought the car pretty much stock except for some cheap wheels and couple dumb parts. Since then I put all new suspension on it, (coilovers, camber control rods, tie rod end-links, lateral link, chassis brace, solid mounts, urethane bushings, control arm bar, etc.) fixed some issues it had with the doors and windows and other various things, drove it for a summer then started to do engine work to it. Started simple then engine finally gave out, rebuilt it completely and also did a full streetport. Then thought I'd be different and coated my housings and UIM/LIM Purple and Irons black. Put the engine back together with a few goodies dropped it in the car and this is how it sits since '06. I plan to get back to it when I get out of the military. I bought it as a project and future track car, but want it done right so I have all the time in the world. If you want or care to see my parts list I have on it you will have to give me time as it is a lot and I would have to think of them all. Also can post up the full rebuild pictures if that interests you but this is all you get for now, you can blame shitty internet for that.
