Round 1: #9 - Fiziks vs bumada
Yeah I'll be updating mine probably as soon as the springfest meet is done with so I have better/more pictures. Coils will be way lower than this, and it'll have spacers on.

It has a 4.4L V8 making about 300HP/320TQ, which takes some people off guard as they think or 5 series as grandma's cars, but it'll pull hard on the freeway.

DDM Apexcone 35W 6000k HIDs
Absent Front Splitter
Active Autowerks Brake Duct Grill
Hella '00 M5 Headlights

Re: Round 1: #9 - Fiziks vs bumada
Sorry Fiziks, I love the e39 540 (my brother drives one actually), but this wasn't even a fair fight. Not only are you going up against a Japanese car on a Japanese-biased forum, but it's up against a really nicely done old car. You never had a chance. If they put you up against a 300ZX or that AMG Benz the vote would have been a lot different I think.

Yeah when I saw the final tally for the 32 slot cutoff, I looked and saw I was vs him and knew it was over. I was praying for a random matchup system instead of 1st vs 32nd seed style. Oh well, always next year to not get knocked out first round.

lol. No i'm not like bashing your car or whatever, the restoration is fucking amazing. It's just how this site is. Like how the MB Black edition almost got knocked out for the 32seed cutoff. Dumb.

Re: Round 1: #9 - Fiziks vs bumada
I know you weren't bashing. My opinion is that it is very hard to have just a general "car tournament." People look at different things and vote for it for different reasons. There isn't a set way to vote on a car...such as stance, power, track, etc. There almost needs to be different classes such at a car show but I know the mods are way too busy to even dream about setting that up. I personally didn't vote for the Mercedes in this round because I look for time spent on the car and individuality, but that Mercedes is one of the top notch cars on this site. This might spark tons of arguments but all in all, its just a damn forum poll.
