Project Classic Datsun: 1966 Datsun Roadster (1600) Restoration Progress
Here are a few pics of the floors that have been painted in the Rust Encap, also some close up of the rust patches. The rust area was cut out enough to have some good metal to weld to then seam sealed and painted with rust encap. None of the areas were large enough to warrent a whole panel replacement.

Also cleaned up the rear reflectors and mounted them just to test fitment:

Also, picked up some of this from Howe Audio today, to keep the road noise out of the cabin:

Wow, that's weird. My brother and I were planning on buying a couple of rusted ole 1600's and trying to do some sort of Resto-mod thing with a turbo motor in a summer or two. This thread motivates me even more to research that further, the paint on your car looks perfect for that thing!
Ok, so finally got some more updates. Work has been keeping me really busy lately but I have been able to get a few more things done:
I got the first batch of new parts, which contained mostly new rubber/weatherstripping:

Yup, Nissan still makes parts for it!

I also started installing some sound deading which I picked up from Howe Audio and Video:

Door Strike Installed:

Got the Driver Door mounted (still needs some minor adjustments):

Also got the trunk mounted:

Driver Side Vent Window Frame with new rubber installed (Still have to install the glass):

Also got the hardtop refreshed:

More to come! Thanks
