Went with Horsepower Solutions to the Spring break Shootout last weekend in Florida. Had a good time, but also had some bad luck (shocker) too. My car was running great Friday during time trials, other than traction issues, then on my second pass in true street my IAT1 sensor came out of my intake tube and made the car go lean which melted the number 6+8 plugs. Did a leak down on the the car Thursday, and the whole drivers side failed miserably. Probably gonna tear it down Monday to see the extent of the damage.

My car and the HP Solutions Comp Orange Cobra they brought to run in true street as well. It did have a 2.3 Whipple on it until they tried to put a race gas tune on it 3 days before we left for Fl. The whipple took a shit, so they had a 2.8 KB next delivered next day.

True street was ridiculously fast this year. The bump spot to qualify for the quick 16 Shootout on Sunday was 10.27.

Dang, I need to make a bulletin that everyone who comes down to Bradenton needs to send me a message. I would have gladly come out and photo'd for you. I usually skip these events because motormavens doesnt run articles on that stuff. But I will gladly meet up with fellow driven members.

Yeah I live just outside Tampa, so the track is 45 minutes from my house. Moved down to FL in August. They host monthly drift events as well at the circle track right behind the drag strip.
