Panoz goes to Performance Autosport for some go fast stuff...
Finally got all the parts in for the Panoz winter project and hauled it up to Kevin (FlimFlam) and the guys at Performance Autosport (www.performanceautosport.com). The car is getting a new top end for the 302 and a swap from fuel injection to a racing carb. The car is also getting a stiffer suspension, heavy duty rear trailing arms, and a rear swaybar kit, plus some general race car maintenance.

Your really going to enjoy the power increase, I was thinking about picking up some 205 AFR's.
Just bought the same rocker arms actually .... pro magnum 1.6's?

Brian, I'm going to photograph the living fuck out of the progress on this car for you. I will do you proud with the build up pics! Thanks for dropping the car off. We've already gotten a fair share of people stopping by asking what it is. I know thats going to continue every day it's here. I'm going to start giving different answers to each person just to fuck with em.
It ain't too shabby. That car of yours needs to make its way here.
I wish. The multi-colored (flipflop paint) Factory Five w/ a 351w and Twin Turbos and in front of that is a Superformance Cobra with a 4.6L 4v. Both getting extensive work done.
Thanks again Brian. You'll love this car all over again on track when it's done.

Wow... wish I'd looked more closely at the Cobras. Superformance builds a nice car from what I've seen. Yeah the Panoz attracts lots of attention. Loading it on the trailer in my nieghborhood a father/son stopped in their truck and asked me questions about it for a good 10 minutes. Happens everytime I take it out of the garage.
205s would be large for a 302 I'd think... that's what most guys go with for the Corvettes, that or 225s.
The rocer arms are whatever the stock ratio is... I think it's 1.6. Yes they're comp pro magnums.
