Well, it's a Honda, but it's something different, and I like it. I leaned to drive in a very similar car, was so fun, and those little fuckers will run forever.

Welcome.

Looks good man. Do you also have a newer SI? I think I've scene a picture of them both together. I also have a 1979 Civic CVCC, heavily modified. If you have any questions, just send me a pm.

Glad to see some other people still keeping these cars alive. I'm in the middle of restoring an '81 Civic Sedan 1500DX CVCC. You need to put a Weber carb on that thing! I put the Redline K725 Weber Kit on mine and it made a world of difference, just something to think about if you plan on any kind of performance modifications. I've done a few different types of suspension setups on it as well.

a few pics of the carb

now its getting the last of the bodywork and interior done.

Welcome.
Thank you, both.

I don't own that white Si. It is a 2007 (with a 2009 front end) that we used for a "30 years of Honda Civic" photoshoot for Canibeat. I've had this car since 2006 and bought it from a guy that raced them throughout the 90s, winning 7 national SCCA championships in it.

That's awesome. You definitely don;t see sedans around, that's for sure. And I hate to be a nitpicker, but you technically have a 1981 Civic 1500DX. Honda dropped the CVCC from the actual name of the car in 1979. Kept the engine, just dropped the name. But either way, I love your sedan.

fastest n00b to EVER get a medal here, wow.

I can certainly dig what you have done to the car, while it inst my cup of tea, I can still dig it. I'd put the roof rack back on to, not sure why, but it actually works, and ads something to it, unlike the NEW Honda fags with racks, and bikes up there for no reason. Yours is a proper luggage rack.

Yea, don't get rid of that luggage rack. They are actually worth quite a bit of money. Here's mine...
