New BMW ///M X5 and X6
Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-9r0y-t-_s
BMW confirmed the M is coming to the SUV line in the shape of a TT V8 putting out 555hp and 500tq, with something they call a "pulse-tuned exhaust manifold encompassing both rows of cylinders combined with high-performance twin-scroll twin turbo technology".

Re: New BMW ///M X5 and X6
It seems like right after Chris Bangle resigned, the body designs BMW has come up with have gone bulky and unattractive. Its good to see the ///M division hasn't lost their magic. I actually like the X6 though, while others dread it.

I was watching an auto show special last year and one of the hosts referred to the X6 as a transvestite "can't make up it's mind what it wants to be".

In this case for sure. They're awesome high end SUV's its just sad to see them share the same badge that used to be reserved for light agile sports coupes and sedans with manual trannys. I wonder if those higher output TT V8's will end up in the upcoming M5's and M6's though.

Re: New BMW ///M X5 and X6
Also this kinda tells that M will no longer stick to NA. Kinda a bummer seeing as the NA BMW's could compete with audi/merc turbo setups.
