My Home Made Shift Knob/Extender (Made From a Broken Napa 1/2in Socket Wench)
My broken 1/2in napa socket wrench. i broke it trying to take off a axel nut. we jumped on it lol
I first cut it with my hand held band saw. shit took me like 5 min just to cut it.
the bolt and nut i used it was a 14mm before i grinded it.
ground down the end of it flat ish. with my flap disk on my angle grinder.
i held the nut on top as center as i could and tacked it.
then welded it. im using a fluxcore welder so it aint too pretty.
The outher shifter extension i made with a old shifter
on top of the other shifter extension lol tall as shit
took the outher one off and put it on the stock shifter i think it looks pretty dope
what the outher extension looks like
it took me like a whole 15mins to make.

I don't mean to sound rude, but what is the purpose of this? Just to be Uber JDM cool to look like you kinda almost have a Circuit Hero shifter extension. Never understood putting an extension on the shifter.
Short shifters are short for a reason.

And maybe you missed where I said "not to sound rude" and it was an ACTUAL question because I don't understand the point of it.

OP: your cool, I was just asking a simple question.

Short shifters are mainly there for shorter shifter travel, IIRC, the short shifter lever is for aesthetics.
