My Cooper S' 150k refresh
well its been a long time in the coming but since my mini is almost to 160k miles and about to be paid off in the next month i decided it was time for an exterior makeover...so here goes...this isnt a would i or could i...this is a i am doing and here we go...plus my Cooper S wasnt going to be outdone by my classic in the modification department
before...as ive known her for many years now...
now...
less than 24hrs later....she is already torn down and they are starting work tonight(the owner and his workers are night owls)
bumpers you have served me well and survived many incidents
no ma...no more stripes!
here is a rundown on what is going to happen....
R53 Aero Kit with body matched fender arches
M7 Aero grilles
redone hood scoop (satin black)
redone hood(no more rock chips and no more stripes)
roof repainted and repaired
center section of my spoiler clearcoated
before...as ive known her for many years now...
now...

that is the M7 extreme scoop and a Group4 Autosports splitter
the problem with the trim is that it will fade no matter how well you maintain it...the only way to prevent it is to garage it all the time....so im going for the painted route....plus i love the look as it gives the car a wider appearance

Which spoiler is that? If you're getting the M7 Aero Grilles, do you have any interest in selling the JCW grill you have in there now? Or is that the Aero Grill? I can't really tell.

the JCW grille is the aero grille...and you wouldnt want these...they are pretty banged up at this point and honestly you want to start with new grilles since these have been modified to fit my particular bumper and might not match with yours
