Re: My '91 MR2 with Gen4 3SGTE Swap
Thanks! Only other exterior modification I'll be making is updating to the '94+ rear lights. Bigger brakes, better suspension and another set of wheels for race rubber will be the only things left after.

Making it better in every possible way while keeping it as true to factory form as possible.
Edit: the 94 tail lights will definitely give the car a more updated and sporty look. Thoughts on the air scoops that lean over the back pillar?
Edit again: the more I think about it the scoop(s) wouldn't look good given the clean lines of the car.

They also disrupt the airflow as designed from the factory. Air is meant to flow up from the bottom of the car and out the vents in the engine lid but by adding the scoops the air from them gets shoved down and can create turbulence. There's no actual data to confirm this but its definitely true that air rises up from under the car so I wouldn't do anything that might compromise the cooling of the car.
The Tom's scoop with the CF Tom's intake for the NA 3SGE cars would probably be the only meaningful reason to have the scoop. It's also only on the (US) drivers side so it makes the car look a bit off balance as well but the scoop rams air down to where the CF intake box places the filter so it has a bit of a ram air/cold air effect.

Just installed a Fujitsubo Legalis R. Tons quieter than before. Love the fitment of this. The Motoria was a bit lopsided. Probably due to my downpipe but this one fits much better.

Thanks! I coach Kellam High School's tennis teams. Getting ready for the move so I was picking up some of our equipment from the old building.
