yeah that makes sense. i just like how clean it looks at f1.4.

It is hard to distinguish 1.4 v. 1.8, especially if you are going to be out at high noon with it. It is better, imo, for low light situations., and the lil difference in DOF field between 1.8/1.4, hell, I can't tell . . .

that is true, i just heard the 1.4 is built a lot better and lasts longer. so i mean paying 100$ more isn't that big of a deal.
