House OF Boost: World's Fastest G8 638whp(14psi)
On the highway the turbochargers are capable of getting up to 25 MPG due to the variable vein turbo system, yet it is still making mild boost at 1,100 RPM. Kick the throttle open and there is 10 pounds of boost before you get to 2,000 RPM. No engine or transmission modifications.

Re: House OF Boost: World's Fastest G8 638whp(14psi)
I was wondering when we'd start seeing aftermarket variable vane turboe kits. I bet that's impressive to drive.
The intake hoses should be fine. It looks like the vacuum hose that is reinforced with a steel spring so it can't collapse.

Re: House OF Boost: World's Fastest G8 638whp(14psi)
100% stock motor (No cam)
100% stock tranny (No stall)
Only two mods to the car
- HOB Turbo Kit
- Magnaflow Catback
This run was on 14psi and the same tune that I ran the 11.00@129 times at. Best MPH was actually 130mph but I only went 11.1 due to hitting the revlimter on the 1-2 shift.
Well you can see this is about all your gonna get out of stock cam, she is DONE making power after 6,000rpm.
If you want more details, they are in this thread below

Re: House OF Boost: World's Fastest G8 638whp(14psi)
365hp is the factory rating, but the car doesn't have a true 1:1 ratio so dyno numbers are usually low: 300-315whp
1:1 in a manual generally means no gear mesh is involved, just the input shaft is locked to the output shaft. Each gearmesh is a percent or two of loss. In the auto, I have not looked at the planetary diagrams for the 6L80, but I am sure that one or more planetaries are turning at 1.15:1, so that, along with the pump, converter, and extra seals and bearings are where the HP is going.
