I haven't driven an R8 but I have driven my friend's DB9 a few times and that would be a horrible daily driver. Granted, his is a very rare 6-speed manual transmission, so the paddle shifters might be a little smoother, but it still has a pretty rough ride and it's very clunky over bumps.
