I know nothing about s2ks stock wheels, but if those are stock please get aftermarket or huge spacers.

Or something. Shit looks weird.

looks really good  could use more space out back, though.

& i'm sure people will say to paint the lip.

This shit is loud...and low.

Sorry we couldnt get to your fenders man...I think were shootin for Sunday right?

Re: couple photos of my NFR AP1...

things I would do:

- put the amber sidemarkers back on
- get rid of that lip all together
- make the calipers not that color
- clean it

the wheels are kind of boring, and what happened to your rear badge? I mean it's alright, I'm not trying to sound like a dick or anything. Always have a soft spot in my heart for them, I used to have a NFR s2000 a while back so I like it for what it is. Just needs to be a bit more classy, all of my nitpicks are easy stuff to fix :)

I say painted amuse front lip, and shit would be super dope. Its hella proper as is though, even though the lip needs to be painted.

Lip needs paint.

Calipers need attention.

Nice man saw you waiting at a light on Ceder lane, i think it was on tuesday. I was in the Gti gti, followed by a dumped white A4 and a red gti on CCW's. Nice car.

Re: couple photos of my NFR AP1...

thanks for the ideas. i have so much i want to change on the car but my schedule is so shitty that i have no time... heres my plan for cosmetics

-15mm spacers font and rear
-install my arp extended wheel studs
-different lug nuts
-paint lip (still deciding)
-clear coat the wheels
-remove surface impurities/ spiderwebs
-roll fenders
-repaint calipers

i think thats it...for now

keep in mind this car needed attention when i bought it so its going to take me a minute to get it where i want it

SWEET, i know how you feel i had to work on somethings on my cars before i can start on tha looks

Re: couple photos of my NFR AP1...

I would move rolling the fenders higher up the list if you're that low. Even with the super fail stock offset the wheels can catcht the fenders and it seems like on these cars it takes nothing to jack them up badly.

I like the lip, who makes it? Also, I'm curious to know how the arp extended stud install goes. Fronts should be easy but I hear the rears require the hub to pulled apart and is a huge pain.

thewhiteknight 04-23-2009 06:45 AM

Re: couple photos of my NFR AP1...

well the wheels are actually for sale because i found some rpf1's that im buying (+45 front and rear) so i will end up rolling the fenders pretty soon, probably this weekend. as for the wheel studs ill post on this thread and let everyone know... im actually trying to decide if i even want to do that now. the only reason i was installing those was for the stock wheels + spacers, but now the enkeis will probably be fine without...

btw its an airwalker lip, i painted it with black bumper paint just to freshen it up a bit until i can get it to the shop

Re: couple photos of my NFR AP1...

I know you said +45 rpf1's but what size? Just ordered a set of 17x9 +45s all around myself :)

Re: couple photos of my NFR AP1...

Get the RPF1s on, do some work on that paint, paint the lip, and then report back.

And I think it's too low.

Turbo or S/Ced?

Re: couple photos of my NFR AP1...

i would never buy a hardtop for my s2000... its not that i dont like them i just have my top down way to much to want one. it will be down even more when i move back to florida in 5 months.:D

the rpf1's are 8 in the front 9 in the rear +45 both... and its an inlinepro turbo setup.

ngaplz....

Shit is too low on the stock wheels...and they're spray painted anyway. It looks like he's "ballin on a budget".

Come on now, you know me. I don't like spray painted stockers or overly dumped S2000s.

He has aggressive wheels though... and that finishes the look. I think s2k_guy's is too low too, but this one with the stock wheels just looks like it's missing something. We'll see how it turns out with the RPF1s. It should look a lot better.

Always the best... b'c the only way is up :D (most times). I would take Jester's notion to put the amber corners back on, or remove amber housings in the headlight to flow with the clear side markers.
