Well I finally brought myself to buy a porter cable since Flite left I can't go steal his. Anyhow, here are the results. Some of you may find it hard to believe, but I did clean my car.
This is all the moniez I haz left after buying supplies.

Re: Broke down and bought a PC 7424...
I used an orange pad with Mark V IP-200 Depth restorer http://www.mark-v.com/index_prod_pol.html
White pad with Poorboy's Black hole
followed by a grey pad with Mark V paint sealant
Then blue pad with Meguires Gold Class (a little goes a long way, but I'm looking for something better, I might go with Flite's recomendation on Lusso Oro)
How bad is your paint? I would say go with a prepackaged kit from autogeek.net detailersdomain.com depending on your budget and needs. I'm pretty happy with the outcome, but wish I would have bought more, there are still some small spots here and there that need a more aggressive cut, with polish and/or pad
Thanks,
I started up at 6am, and finished at 1:00, I thought the heavens were going to let loose, so I left it in the garage, took a shower and then went into town in my car. I'll try and take some sun shots tomorrow afternoon, as long as it doesn't rain, and my wife doesn't trash it on the way home from work.

here are some sun pics, too bad a pc doesn't remove dents and rock chips. I'm not gonna lie there are a few spots with spider webbing, but my wife doesn't look at it that closely so who cares.
