So we've been researching cars for a while. We pretty much had it narrowed down to a BMW 545i or 550i. On the way home from the BMW dealer, we decided to stop by Hall Acura and look at what they had. The salesman talked us into test driving an Acura RL and to be honest, we didn't even make it out of the parking lot before we decided we'd rather have the RL over the BMW. I can't believe I picked a fancy Honda over a 5 series BMW, but it's really an amazing car. It lacks the steering feel of the 5 series, but trumps it pretty much everywhere else as far as I'm concerned.

Anyway, here it is. It's dirty and I snapped these real quick as the sun was going down.

Fobby, I hope you enjoy that thing as much as I have. I'm still not completely comfortable with the fact that it's sold. I really REALLY liked that thing.

Which is why we never really considered one. They're too "normal" looking. The wheels are underwhelming and the lines don't stand out from the crowd at all. It looks good, but it's no extrovert.

All that was forgiven the second we got inside it though. Seriously... amazing car, both "gadget" wise and to drive. The steering is typical Honda numb, but the chassis is awesome. SH-AWD is really strange when you push it. This thing can do things that a big heavy car like this shouldn't do.

And for less then the cost of a new Civic....
