87 Iroc LS-Juan/ Turbo new build
Got most everything wired up and TURNED THE MOTOR OVER! The fuel isnt hooked up and there was no plug wires on. But still it turned and so far so good. A small step but still a step for my first true complete motor/car build. Also got the new brass adaptor put into the head WITHOUT breaking it off. Got the motor mount bolts in, trimmed up some of the wires that were no longer needed. Now just gotta get the crank pulley torques about 50 more pounds and finish this NON A/C box thats kicking my ass. I'll post some pics up sunday after I clean it up all nice and do the interior.
i appreciate all the kind words. Its been a PITA since i bought the car about 4 years ago. Turbo cars are awesome but always need something. Hope my damn headers get here this week.
Has real update.
Passenger side header, turbo, and downpipe in. It went in rather easy. The driver side... eh prob not so easy. we will see though. The downpipe is 3.5". Now to figure how the hell the heater box is going to go in...

Massaged the NON A/C box in so i will have heat/defroster which is good. trying to clean up a few things. The damn braided fuel lines for the fuel rails is kicking my ass. Need to make a steering shaft now as mine is to fat were the dampner is for the driver side header
. Oh well looks like either some custom stuff or flaming river parts. Prob be doing the coilovers in the next few days so I can slam it.

Got the driver side header in. Took some massageing with a hammer to the very rear primary which will probably have to be redone when the new steering shaft gets here as i think i'll have to "dimple" it way to much for it to be safe. But we will see. Welding the crossover tonight hopefully and maybe if all goes well will be able to fire this off. Still need help with the god damn braided fuel lines. i can't get them to not splay.
