Looks pretty good, always been a fan of that body. My dad had one when I was young that was 2WD with something beefy under the hood, I just remember that it sounded pretty mean.

Yea i agree but apparently before the last guy owned it a Navy guy had it and built the bumper or something. Its not worth the trouble to take it off to me.
Thats stained into the paint I guess the last owner didnt really get how to put gas in it. The cap and seal are newish.

take off the rest of the side moulding. It looks tacky with the 3 remaining pieces. Also, something tells me that Bed isnt original to the truck. Like it alot, makes me really miss my 79

Yea I just noticed that and agree that it looks weird its actually supposed to go all the way to the bed of the truck. You might be right that the bed is not original, but the truck was originally 2wd then someone converted it. So its not a hi boy and the gas tank isnt in the cab.
