Default (56k) Rolex Series at VIR 4.25.09

Borrowed a lens from a friend.....Canon Macro 70-300. Slow AF......but not bad. Did most of my shooting around 1/125 all day...for the wheel blur. So with the slower AF I had a higher trash rate.....but still managed some good shots. Definitely will stick to the L glass.....

Looking good. Have you had the chance to use the 28-300L? I used it at two weddings I have done and I was sold.

I'll never pickup another tele that is not a L, I will tell you that. I've been trying to scoop a 28-300L for quite some time, but can't find one locally. I am so stuck on the 100-400L.....but the extra wide down low with the 28-300.....I get wood thinking about it.

I'll try one.....maybe even for the NHRA race at Bristol coming up.

I have the 70-200 f4 and I love it.

I'm not sure which 70-300mm Canon you're referring too, I know they make a few. But the 70-300 -f/4.0-5.6 IS is a notoriously awful lens.

the 70-300 -f/4.0-5.6 DO IS is supposedly a lot better.

if you have the dough for a 70-300 DO you might as well as get a 70-200 2.8 or 4w/IS and a extender tube.
