And if I remember correctly the Viper ACR was not pushed nearly as hard as it could go according to the driver when it set the record.
An incredible feat for the ZR1 nonetheless.
also going up quiddelbacher hill full tilt has got to be one of the most exhilarating experiences out there. That takes some balls

A GM test driver is still no slouch. Its not like they sent Racin Jason out there and he ran a 7:19, its still a professional driver. Impressive nonetheless.

This section, right before the super fast Flugplatz. Very easy to get airborne going over the crest.
Looking at video it actually does look like he caught a little bit of air...at 145mph...before a sharp right hander...
