A car that is pretty much made in house versus a car that isn't. The price isn't from the performance.

Both cars are ugly... the Japanese don't understand how to build beautiful cars. There was even a Top Gear all about it.... I think the RX-7 FD was one of the only curvey/sexy cars they've ever built. The 3000GT, Z cars, and Supra are good too, but other than that they tend to end up with techno-cool vs. beauty.

It's not a consumer car. It's a showoff car. The cost to develop that car is monumental and from the look of it, the cost to produce each one is probably enormous as well. They built something comparible to a 599GTB that costs more, performs worse, but sounds even better, and is even more exclusive... and it's wearing a glorified Toyota badge. That's not exactly a recipe for a sales success, but it'll definitely bring attention to a brand that desperately needs it.

No shit... I don't mind the rest of it, but the ass looks like an African made kit car.
