2004 Mustang GT

Paid $9300 for it. KBB was $8700 for it so I don't think the price was too high...and yeah I can see the Redskins theme haha. I would love to go forced induction but I wanna do it right so I need to research what works best first. And I need to pick up more shifts at work so I have more $$$.

Re: 2004 Mustang GT
Foxbody has a dead cylinder so I got a new car...new to me. It's a 40th anniversary edition with 80k miles. Everything's pretty squeeky clean. Phone camera = so the driver's seat looks like someone shat all over it but it's just as clean as the rest of the car. No jean stains on the leather.

It's got 80k on it. I paid his loan off so it was a little more than what I wanted to pay for it. But I honestly just don't give a shit. I like the car so it was worth it.

Re: 2004 Mustang GT
And people thing Corvettes have crap interior. Back in the day I'd drive my parents' '99 C5 vert and then hop back in my '97 Cobra vert and realize how much of a huge POS it was. Everything creaked and rattled and the steering wheel leather was complete junk.

Thats the worse part about this body style. God awful akward and uncomfortable interior.

The interior feels quite nice when you're small like me.
Steering wheel is in great shape on mine. Although I noticed today that the leather finish has worn off slightly in a crease of the driver's seat. That kinda sucks, but it's not too noticable. Also no creaks and rattles...yet
Also upon further examination I noticed underdrive pulleys and oversized injectors. Nice surprise.

Re: 2004 Mustang GT
Cobras weren't in my price range. I needed a balance between a reliable car that was fun and affordable. Also has no rust. I'm confused on what's so bad about the car...

Re: 2004 Mustang GT
Got some fresh pictures of the car after I buffed/waxed it. I know, I'm not much of a photographer.
The uneven bricks made the stance look funny...rear wheel should be tucked in considerably more.
So it turns out that the SCT badge that was here was covering up a fisheye in my clearcoat. Even though I used a heat gun to pry it off, the already weak paint ripped off with the badge, down to the metal. I probably should have applied more heat, but I was paranoid about my paint bubbling. So now I'm left with this eyesore. Ford paint and body quoted me $900 to fix it the proper way, which involves blending the clear coat into the door and hood. I am willing to pay that much if I have to, but I thought someone may have a better suggestion.
Things coming in the next 4 to 6 weeks:
-Tokico D-spec or KYB AGX struts and shocks (opinions?)
-Quadshocks - would it be worthwhile to replace the quadshocks when I do struts and shocks or are the stockers fine?
