06 STi 20g First time at the strip
 

Been to the drag strip for years, this was my first time with the STi. Had some issues launching... bogged, spun sideways slightly (need new tires) Ran anywhere from 1.77 to 2.0 60ft's, I know this is garbage for a somewhat fast awd and I should be doing 1.6's. Need practice.

20g-xt turbo, FMIC, 740cc's and all other supporting stuffs. The clutch, I hate. I was recommended the ACT 6puck with the solid hub/unsprung. Dyno'd at 360awhp 361 tq @ 19 psi. Needless to say, a little disappointed with the times, 12.70, 12.8x and 13.01. Trap speeds were 111-112mph.

Next week is the final weekend of the season, going to try feathering the clutch a bit more instead of dumping and "bliping" the throttle instead of holding, as I learned from some fellow awd afterwards.

I would be disappointed too.

Another poster that will probably pop in this thread broke 12s with bugeye, sti turbo, fmic, etc. Nothing major.

Agreed. Went with a bunch of friends, was an enjoyable night, nevertheless.

So someone told you that you need a 6 puck unsprung clutch for 360HP? That's about the last thing I would buy for that car.

Yes, posted a question on NASIOC when I was re-doing practically the entire car, majority recommended it and I regret listening. Ive never had an unsprung/solid and had no idea it was that different ;(
