Default Your suggestion on tire/wheel fit

Alright so im about to purchase new tires/wheels for the drag truck and can't decide if this will fit good enough for hard boosted launches but im looking at 18x8.5 alloy wheels wrapped in 285/60R18 toyo proxes. Truck is a diesel 4x4 with 4.10s in the rear so a larger wheel is needed to help RPMs also its lowered a few inches sits about the stock height of a Dodge ram 1500

Edit: can't add a sig yet so here ya go:
96 12v auto dodge, Silver bullet turbo, ATS exhaust manifold, 60LB springs, 4kGSK, Grand Rock 8" Single Miter stack, DDP Stage 3 injectors, Fuel plate removed, star wheel tweeked, Lowered a bit.

Performance: No Cat/DPF, Spartan 275, MBRP, aFe, Snow Performance, NX, Farmboy Fab, Spearco, SunCoast, Autometer, Mag-Hytec, Fox Shocks, CCV Mod
Looks: Rize Quad Link & Steering Stabalizer, KMC, Nitto Terra, Herculined Rocker Panels, AVIC Z2

Why would you run a 285 on a 8.5" wide wheel? Why not a 10" wheel?

It would be fine with it being a 60 series tire

changed out to sizes completely to a 275/70/16 Toyo Proxes ST. The Proxes have ran 10 sec 1/4mile times and can cut 1.5X 1.6X 60' times. There not cheater slicks or slicks but they will do

Neither one of them . You know how hard it is to get a +7000lb truck to go in the 10's? VERY VERY hard. I have never understood trying to make a 4x4 diesel a drag truck. But nothing less nice trucks
