those are rod ends. the male ones are the ones at the top and the female one is the one at the bottom.
if you want high quality, go for aurora bearing, new hampshire ball bearing, or anything off aircraft spruce. They are relatively cheap.

The combination of the male and female joints does make a tierod when referring to the steering, or a drop link if its applied in reference to the ARB.
