which would you rather have
im debating on the motor i want... right now i have an oem single cam turbo... have the choice to put a barnd new high compression ls vtec into it. which would you do??

LS VTEC, but what are your goals? The single cam probably gets better gas mileage, and if it's enough power then sticking with that would be easier on the wallet and time.

^ agreed... how about this though i was told it will have about 13.5 to 1 compression. and then i was informed i would have to run race gas constantly... true or false

You're more than likely going to have to run 93 or it'll ping or knock.
And for the record, brand new is not always better. You don't know who built that motor and what could be wrong with it.

this is the fucking truth, unless you built it your self, or were present when the build was happening, i wouldnt trust the motor as far as you could throw it.
