'81 VW Rabbit Diesel. 70k miles in good shape. Guy wants a stupid low price for it but it has no A/C. I'm literally torn 50/50 if I should suck it up or pass. Who here has or wouldn't mind driving in VA weather w/o AC. . .

well, to be honest i think you have to look at where you would be driving. If you do not mind getting to work hot and sweaty. Then what about your girl... N/m just take her car. Any kids... if so I really hope you are not asking this question. I have been going for thus far with no A/C then today decided to fix it. If it were me, I'd get it. Screw A/C it's a 81 Rabbit

I've been DD'ing my car for the past 7 years with no a/c in it. It sucks in the summer, and I doubt you'll get used to it... but it's a mk1 rabbit. I'd rock the shit out of it.

It's nice to have heat in the winter. Just bring a change of clothes with you when you go to work in the summertime. You're also a dude... so you can just not wear a shirt til you arrive at your destination. I've made a habit of finding the nearest airvent/fan upon my arrival at said destination and standing in front of it for ~5 minutes.
