What would happen if you compare the 12 inch to a 15 inch? There has to be a medium, one that is relative to the weight of the car. If you go too wide then I think it would only be reducing the psi the contact patch is putting to the pavement.

My 335's do fantastic in the dry. . . in the wet, not so much.
