Re: Why do the majority of you prefer a slower car for your money?
- Anyone who uses the term "ricer" immediately loses all credibility in my book.
- All the cheap and corny crap you see on Civics (because that's what he was really talking about, right?) can be and is found on Mustangs, Camaros, etc etc.
- There are a number of reasons young people start out with Civics. I know I'm generalizing but here's a big one: Imagine you're an average parent about to buy your teen his first car. Would you get him a Civic or a Z28?
The reason I personally will always choose an import over a domestic is build quality. I'd much rather have a car put together by someone who enjoys and values his job than some UAW lowlife just counting the minutes until his next smoke break. It's easier to make a Civic fast than it is to make a Camaro not squeak.

I think it all boils down to..
kids prefer getting their jollies off beating stock Mustangs and Camaros, rather than actually being fast.

Ok everyone, sell your 4banger imports & buy either a F-body or a Mustang...
Hell everyone needs to get one in the same color to, personal prefrence isnt aloud unless you are a ricer.
