Why are 7 Series so damn cheap
Ever look on an autotrading site and see the old 7 Series going for under 10k. They look like they are in perfect condition, over 100k miles but still ready to go. I understand normal BMW depreciation but whats with their flagship car going from 80-100k to 8-10k in less than a decade? Do these things turn to absolute crap when they get up there in the mileage and usage?

The affordable ones usually have like 250,000 miles on them. They last a long time, but anything with that much use is going to need work, and BMW's aren't cheap.

7 Series depreciate quickly bottom line. They are very expensive to maintain, and yes they do have alot of problem. For the 4 years I ran a BMW shop, for every 3 series I saw for repairs/maintenance I saw (4) 7 Series cars for repair, usually on a rollback or driven in with service engine light/SRS light/Trac light, or something along those lines.
