Who here has boosted the Accords?
Are they worth even dumping money into? I see too many civic's...
Looking at building a little play toy since I am thinking of getting out of the jeep scene with limited time on my hands to wheel and camp. Plus something to take to VMS or other tracks to watch and learn some new stuff.
Ijus tthink a civic is a little small
ok GO! :P

very much worth it. with a ebay turbo and a good tune, you can easily be pushing 300whp with matching tq. the f-series is pretty much a h series without the top end, and you can always swap heads and voila!

Re: Who here has boosted the Accords?
The 'modded Accord' thing kind of died out with the Gen 5's in 1998. Too big, too heavy, conservative styling. Both the I4 and V6 models seriously lagged other cars in power soon after introduction. My impression is Honda didn't want Accords to be associated with the tuner market, and by 2002 they'd taken the Civic out of that category as well.
Honda noticed when the brand had turned ghetto. Insurance rates were high because theft rates were high. The same factors that made Hondas cheap to produce also made them desirable theft targets thanks to interchangeable parts.
The fix? Develop a product line that appealed less to tuners.
