That's my source or any local junk/salvage yard for a used part if its body related, but usually only on older vehicles that I know will most likely be there.

There's nothing wrong with wanting quality and wanting to save money. OP go online & search for the site that fits yours needs but like someone already said there are plenty of sites to choose from. It all depends on what manufacturer you are trying to get the parts for.

No, if you want OEM go to any one of a myriad of aftermarket dealers. If you want OE go to a dealer. That said, not all dealers are created equal. I can get the same part shipped to me from a BMW dealer in Ohio for $100 that Casey BMW would want $200+ for.

This, rockauto, junkyard depending on what the part is. Sometimes you don't need new or you can easily restore a junkyard part to like new and save some cash. Also, look up the part number online and go order it at the dealership. Some dealerships give military/DoD discounts.

Another tip. Learn about your car. I have a Z32 so I use Z1 Motorsports and Concept Z performance a lot. There is also a Z junkyard in Chesapeake. The guy is real shady and kind of a tool so I don't like to deal with him but I've gotten pieces even Z1 doesn't have. This all doesn't help anybody without a Z but there are similar sites/places/forums for many other cars. Use them.
