whats YOUR input?
just need some input...i'm putting a new head gasket in my mkIII. (by the way, they popped the block....ITS NOT CRACKED!! OH YEAH!)
anyways whats your preference...a Metal head gasket or a Carbon Fiber (?) head gasket. (thats what the guy mentioned to me).
any input is appreciated, thanks!

You need a carbon fiber one. You'll shave at least 20 lbs off the front end, thereby making your car 1mph faster in teh 1/4. Not to mention the cleanliness factor of adding carbon fiber headgaskets, then you can take off your head at the meets and show everyone. Rock on.

dude, shutup shawn. what this calls for is a custom made gasket.
what you need to do, is go steal all of your moms wine bottle corks, cut them into thin slices, RTV them together, and slap it on.
what the cork holes do is allow boost pressure to vent, sort of like a million little blowoff valves. this causes a very quick spool (assuming you mean a mk3 supra turbo.)

um go with cf taking extra weight off the front end is always a good thing. It should be thinner, upping the compression a bit giving you tons more HP. let's see pics after you are done
