how much is he lookin to spend? normal mods would be like intake, exhaust, header, cam gear(s), and all those other little engine things. um, id go with an aem cold air intake with a bypass valve (you can find that on almost any website that sells import parts), exhaust im not too sure what would be best for an accord, header get a dc sports 4-1 ceramic, cam gears im not too sure about either for an accord. then you could put on some coilovers, id go with either skunk2 or ground control. these are just my personal opinions.

Buy your parts online; much cheaper than going to shops.

Cheap mods? Air intake; suspension bars.

Mods that will actually help that car? H22 swap; turbo kit

Swap an H22, headers, intake, high-flow cat, cat-back, cams, cam gears and a Hondata.
The next step would be to open up the H22 and either raise the compression (~11.5:1) with rods, pistons and upgrade the valvetrain.
After that about all you can do is reinforce everything that's already upgraded. Some Honda guys could probably get more in detail or cover some things I missed.
