What Truck Would You Buy?
 

I'm in the market for a truck and am unsure of what to buy. I'm looking for information regarding what years might be better than others and why. Were there certain models that had powertrain or suspension changes, for better or worse? I don't plan on modifying anything beyond tire/wheels, so stock form is what matters. I'm looking at a 15 series since I won't be using this truck for work. A 25 series would be acceptable, but not necessary. These are my requirements:

4 door
15k budget

I'm fine with gas or diesel. Just figured the latter wouldn't be in my price range without a lot of mileage.

What are you doing with this truck?

Dailying this to work?

Hauling family to friday night dinners? If so, how many kids, what age?

Towing a lot?

Eventually going to be for show?

2wd or 4x4?

Do you want to do all the maintenances on it, or pay someone to do it? (think expensive truck and work on it yourself budget vs. buy something cheaper and pay shops to fix it)
