Default What motor is in an 86 Accord LX 4 door?
Pretty much just as the title stated, i want to know what motor is in an 86 Honda Accord 4 door LX. My buddy has one he wants to sell me but the motor is bad in it. It is a hell of a deal, only 100 dollars. All it needs is a gas tank and a new motor. I have no clue what size motor is in it. Im guess it is a 1.8L, but i dont know if that is a b18 or not. Can anyone help me out?

look on the block. it should be to the left beside the header. its engraved on a flat square peice about 2x2 inches.

1.8l SOHC 12v CVCC (unless its an LX-i and then its got injection)

A16A or A18A im pretty sure on that i know its an A series
