What cars have you owned and what problems have they had?
That fun little 4G thread brought up some bad memories while I was at the gym. I was thinking of all the different cars I use to own and what has pissed me off about them. I know we have the "what cars have you owned threads, but I decided to create a different sort of thread to list the cars and issues. If you have had many many cars, I would just stick with the cars you have owned the longest (time).
1987 Nissan Sentra XE (bought used, owned 2 years)
- Transmission failure (auto 3spd) at 105k miles
2001 Nissan Sentra SE (bought new, owned 4 years)
- Power steering leak at 5k miles (thankfully fixed under warranty)
- Paint peeling on front bumper at 20k miles
- Warped rotors at 20k miles
- Starter failure at 30k miles
1993 Dodge Stealth TT (bought used with 60k miles, owned 2 years)
- Engine rebuilt right before purchase at 60k (stupid boost spike)
- First transfer case leak at 65k miles
- Output shaft shredded at 75k miles
- Transfer case cracked and input spline destroyed at 75k miles
- Transmission vcu fried and synchros stripped at 85k miles
- Clutch slipping at 90k miles (replaced with 6-puck)
- 2 ECU's fried at 90k miles (replaced caps)
- Stuck brake calipers at 90k miles
- Failed clutch hydraulics at 92k miles
- Drive shaft vibration from failed bearings at 95k miles
2006 Nissan Altima 3.5SE (bought new, owned 2 years)
- Never any issues until someone hit it and destroyed the rear.
2007 Subaru WRX (Leased new for my girl's dd, only kept it for 1 year)
- No issues, but insurance was too high living in Chicago
2008 Ford Mustang GT (bought new, owned for about 2 years now)
- Cold weather grinding when shifting into 3rd (synchro issue for that year)
- Windows squeak when they are wet
- Dash rattling
- Water leak into passenger floor due to improperly installed grommet
I have owned several old subarus, mazdas, and nissans, but they were just short term toys. My cars have generally been pretty good to me.

Re: What cars have you owned and what problems have they had?
1996 Dodge Stratus: It got passed down from my Grandma who got it new, than my dad bought it off of her to use as a DD. I finally got it for my first car with 88k miles.
After 100k miles that POS's Waterbelt broke, than a good thousand miles later it had a major oil leak and they pretty much considered it totaled. (because the cost to repair the car cost more than the damn car itself).
2005 Nissan Altima 3.5SE
Bought the car at 60k and 25k later the only troubles have been your normal dead battery, or problems I caused myself that I could have easily fixed.
