I found it pretty interesting how people over here are hooked on the JDM thing and the Japanese people are doing the USDM thing. Pretty wild if you ask me. Trade off anyone?

Everyone wants to be like someplace else. The USDM thing in Japan has been around for a long time, there's a rice subculture. I think it's all tongue-in-cheek. Not as bad an the UK though, the compact car culture there is insanely tacky a lot of the time.
They must import those crap wheels from us. Shame, why can't wheels like that just die..?
