Boggles my mind. I thought VW only rated them in the mid 40's for the highway? How did they manage 80+?

If I do 50mph I can acheive upwards of 50+mpg. But if I draft a semi....

But where is the speed limit 50mph on an interstate? Or anywhere.

It also depends on the mileage of the car though, the higher the mileage the more efficient the engine. Hard to believe a 2012 has 50 or even 100k miles though.

But 88mpg? That's hard to believe.

that's normal, average driving.

they are "hypermilers" doing crazy fuel saving things while driving for the duration of the trip.
