i went through the UTI in Pennsylvania with the ford fact program...and right now im doing the mercedes benz elite training in florida. dont fall into the lies that the sales reps tell you though...its nothing like they or the commercials make it out to be.

what are your real goals though....trying to work for a dealer? nascar? drag team?

i was going to look into the nascar program but ended up not doing it. It was much more expensive than i thought it would be.

I have a co-worker who went through it a while ago, said it was a complete waste of money. I've been told time and time again that the best way to learn this shit is to get in there and do it.

It all depends on what you know and make of it. If you have already worked at shops and have experiance it will be real easy and you might not like it. If your like me and only know from what you read out of books and tooling around with your own car then its a great place to fill in all the blanks. Also there are a lot of teachers who have been on race teams so they have plenty of knowlege when it comes to racing.
