TRYING TO IMPORT A CAR FROM CANADA
Im currently in the possess of buying a 93 toyota supra right hand drive from a guy in canada and I was wondering what i have to do to get it into the us and then get it registered in VA. Im planning on driving it back? Any advice would be great.

The smart thing to do: Find out what's required BEFORE you buy it, not during or after.
The biggest thing that matters is whether this is a North American market vehicle that was sold in Canada as opposed to a JDM vehicle that was imported into Canada. If it's just a North American market Supra that's been converted to RHD, it will be a lot easier to import because crash and emissions standards are fairly similar between the US and Canada. People from states that border Canada often buy used cars in Canada and then import them over the border, but that's often done with the help of the used car dealer.
